Copies of our dossier are in Ethiopia now and are being translated. Our official dossier – all those copies with all those fancy shiny seals that costs some pretty pennies – will likely be sent tomorrow to the Ministry of Women’s Affairs.
Once the translation is complete, the copy and translation will go to court and we will be given our court date. According to our agency, that court date could be as early as February. We’re trying to keep our emotions in check, though, and to be realistic. We know that things could get held up at any point in the process. But, I have to say, I was really excited to hear that we could be in court this spring. That’s a little earlier than we were thinking, which is great. Our friend Amanda dreamt the other night that things went way faster than expected. Here’s to hoping she’s a Nostradamus in the making!
